Real Madrid veteran and Croatian national team legend Luka Modric will stay in the Spanish capital for another season after extending his contract until June 2025, the Madrid club announced on Wednesday, July 17. The 38-year-old midfielder, who joined Real in 2012, had already extended his contract by one year last year, despite strong interest from Saudi Arabia, which was looking to recruit him. He has reached an agreement with Real Madrid to extend his contract again, until June 30, 2025, the Spanish club said in a statement. The Croatian international, Ballon d’Or in 2018, has won six Champions League, four La Liga and two Copa del Rey titles with Real.
