Luiss Paola Severino resigns from the Board of Directors

The professor will continue to carry out her teaching activity at the law department as professor emeritus in the chair of criminal law and her functions as president of the school of law, with which she created the first master’s degree in cybersecurity in recent years nationwide.

“The reasons for this painful decision – said Professor Severino, according to what can be read in a note released by the university – I explained them at length in a letter to the board of directors of the university. So I chose to resign from the Board of Luiss, the university in which I spent all the years of my university career”.

“THE ties that bind me to Luiss remain strong and intense: each of the experiences lived in these long years – from young assistant to full professor, to president of the law faculty to pro-rector, to deputy pro-rector, to rector and finally vice president – have been a source of pride for me, that pride that I have tried to convey to the many students I have welcomed, trained and graduated at Luiss – he added – I will continue teaching.
