Ludwig Göransson wins Grammy for music in “Oppenheimer”

Ludwig Göransson was nominated in five categories in this year’s Grammy Awards, including for best film score. On Sunday evening, it was clear that he won the award for his film score in the blockbuster “Oppenheimer”, reports Deadline.

It will thus be his fourth Grammy.

And it’s not the first time that the soundtrack to “Oppenheimer” has been praised either. Earlier this year, Ludwig Göransson was awarded a Golden Globe for best film score. The music also received an Oscar nomination.

Several Swedes among the nominations

Other Swedes at the gala were the hard rock band Ghost who were nominated in the category of best metal performance, a nomination they also received last year. Neither this year nor last led to any profit.

The Swedish-American blues musician Eric Bibb was also nominated in the category of best traditional blues album for the third time. Nor was he awarded any prize.
