Streamer Ludwig Ahgren (27) surprised his fans with a curious live stream on YouTube. For 7 hours he copied word for word another streamer who was broadcasting on Twitch. But hardly any of his viewers noticed anything. MeinMMO explains what’s behind it.
Who is the person you are talking about?
Ludwig grew up with the hype surrounding Among Us. If you’ve always wanted to see what the deduction game looks like in VR, check out the video.
Ludwig copies Twitch stream for his YouTube channel
This stream is about: On August 15, Ludwig surprised his fans with an unusual stream. A dimly lit bedroom was in the background instead of its usual setup, and the stream started outside of its usual schedule.
His reasoning: do everything to become the biggest streamer in the world.+
This is how Ludwig wants to become the biggest streamer in the world: Ludwig had the ingeniously stupid idea of simply copying the currently biggest streamer on Twitch in order to get some of its success.
The biggest streamer on Twitch is xQc. So Ludwig just copied the stream of the “Juicer” for 7 hours.
Streamer even downgrades gear to be more like xQc
Here’s how Ludwig copied xQc:
Why he did that? The campaign should probably provide content for Ludwig’s YouTube channel. A video will follow in the next few days. But Ludwig already revealed that he wants to become the biggest streamer in the world.
How did he do it? Ludwig stated that he wore a button in his ear the whole time. Someone told him what xQc was doing.
What are the viewers saying? Many didn’t even know what was going on at first and treated the stream like any other. However, some indicated that they already suspected something. Some also discovered completely new aspects of themselves. One viewer said he liked the stream so much that maybe he should start watching xQc.
Overall, many fans seem to have enjoyed this type of stream and want more of it.
Even Ludwig admits: “Maybe there is something to this xQc guy after all.”
The real xQc has been making headlines lately mostly with casino streams. Therefore, some viewers were relieved that xQc decided not to gamble this time.
If you want to see the two streams in direct comparison, you can do so on Ludwig’s YouTube channel and xQc’s Twitch channel.
What do you say? Would you have noticed what Ludwig was doing there or maybe you even followed the streams? Is there a streamer you’d like to see play someone else? Please leave us a comment with your opinion.
Big streamers like xQc and Ludwig often have a special position when it comes to bans. It is not uncommon for bans to be shortened or lifted entirely if the range is large enough. The case of Asmongold’s recent ban in WoW shows how much this special treatment gets on the nerves of some viewers.
