He got his first record deal when he was nine, but it wasn’t until last year that his career took off, and at a tremendous pace. It was when Luciano Axelsson, 30, was sitting at home at the dinner table and singing to Stefan Borsch’s song “Det är ju dej jag går og verður på” that his twin sister Gina captured it on video and published it on Tiktok, which spread to the world.
Today he is known as the dance band star Lucianoz and now we get to follow him in the documentary series “Lucianoz – Dance band star from Rinkeby” on TV4 and TV4 Play.
– Suddenly it just clicked, producers and record companies got in touch from different directions. I signed a record deal, got to release my first single which became a hit, and I got to try singing on the big stages. Crazy, I got to sing at Mello! we hear Lucianoz tell in the premiere episode.
– It was on Tiktok that I broke through, so it’s important to be active and show love, he continues.
Lucianoz: “It turned out exactly as I imagined”
Lucianoz cares about his Tiktok audience as well as the older audience. In part one of the documentary series, we see him both broadcasting live on Tiktok and giga at a retirement home. And now he also hopes to charm the audience at home on the TV sofas.
There was no doubt about agreeing to do the documentary series.
– They got in touch and asked me if I wanted to do this, and of course it was straight away. It just felt natural that you should get to know me and my family, says Lucianoz to TV4.
– It feels wonderful! Everything goes as it should, you just have to thank and accept. I am super satisfied, it turned out exactly as I imagined, he continues.
He hopes that the documentary series will be received with open arms, with the warmth with which he and his music have now been received.
– I hope they love the whole documentary and appreciate all the time that was put into working on it. And that everything feels happy and wonderful, that you get to share with me, my family and my friends, he says.
