New Jedi Order and Mandoverse: Two more Star Wars films were officially announced
In addition, two more Star Wars films are actively developing. On the one hand there would be the Rey film, which is staged by Sharmen Obaid-Chinoy and recently received a new screenwriter with George Nolfi. On the other hand, Dave Filoni’s mandoversee film is waiting, which has hardly been available so far.
Kennedy does not go into more detail in the deadline interview. However, since the films were announced together with Mangolds Dawn of the Jedi at the last Star Wars Celebration, there will certainly be an update in April.
We should make less hope on Rogue Squadron, Lando and the Trilogy by Rian Johnson. At Rogue Squadron, the last status is that the film is on hold for the time being. Lando was converted into a movie by a series at Disney+, but has not made any progress since then. And Johnson’s trilogy has basically no significant developments since her announcement.
