He has become a viewer favorite, but in this week’s “Sweden’s Master Chef” it will be Lucas Eriksson who has to throw in the towel. What will be his downfall in what will be his final elimination on the show is a pizza where the dough is not fully baked – and one with too unseasoned mozzarella.
– It has been a really cool journey to be a part of. But I don’t like being away from home this much, my journey is done now I feel, says Lucas in a final sync in the program.
Considered leaving voluntarily
In an interview, Lucas now harbors only positive feelings about being the one who had to leave. If the outcome had been different, he would have considered going home voluntarily.
– It felt so damn good. I was tired of it, I wanted to go home. I’m not used to being away from home so much, says Lucas.
– If I hadn’t gone out then, I would almost have said to be allowed to leave the program anyway. I had already talked about it with my mother and partner before, he continues.
However, he had not informed the production that he was on his way away.
– I don’t talk to anyone unnecessarily, he states.
But had things looked different at home, it could also have looked different for Lucas in the show.
– If I were single, didn’t have a partner and didn’t have a farm to take care of, then I would have gone about it in a different way. I had a different attitude to winning everything. But it was a bit too much, and so the hunting season started as well. I am satisfied!
The love from the viewers
But unlike Lucas, there can probably be some disappointed faces at home on the TV sofas when they are met by the fact that Lucas has now done his part in Sweden’s master chef. He is grateful for all the love he has received from viewers.
– It is impossible to describe in words, I would like to go and drink coffee with everyone who has written such beautiful things, says Lucas.
So, was this the last we saw of you on TV?
– We’ll see what happens. I’m not that difficult, as long as I don’t have to be away from home for too long I’m quite flexible.
