She must have been born as Barbro Larsson. But it is as “Babben” that she has become all of Sweden’s favorite Gothlander.
Babben’s career
The career took off in theater first, before Babben became a real pioneer in Swedish stand-up. Since then, she has developed into one of the most popular people in Swedish television.

In recent years, she has been widely praised as the presenter of the hit show “Bäst i test”. And in December 2022, Babben received the great honor and honorary assignment as this year’s Christmas host for SVT.

“Love them”
But what many people don’t know is that Babben Larsson is also a big hockey geek and has a really favorite favorite team in the SHL. Far from Gotland, her heart is attached to the Gävle team Brynäs and it has been that way for a long time.

She admits that herself in an old interview with Aftonbladet.
– I have loved Brynäs ever since the 70s, when Lars-Göran Nilsson and some other national team players played there. When they had one of their glory periods, she talks about her love for her favorite team, Brynäs.
