Louise Glück is dead – won the 2020 Nobel Prize in Literature

Nobel laureate in literature Louise Glück is dead, reports the news agency AP.

She was 80 years old.

The American poet and essayist won the 2020 Nobel Prize in Literature for “his unmistakable poetic voice which with austere beauty makes individual existence universal”.

One of Glück’s most famous works is the collection of poems “The Wild Iris”, which was published in 1993.

She has also been awarded, among other things, the Pulitzer Prize in poetry and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize.
