Two charged after son father clash police

A suspect in the theft of lottery tickets from a Tilbury convenience store last month turned himself in, Chatham-Kent police say.

A man whose demands for cash and lottery tickets were refused by an employee of the Circle K on Queen Street North in Tilbury took two trays of tickets from the counter and left about 6:43 am Aug. 28, police said.

Investigators identified a suspect after publicly releasing an image from surveillance footage, police said. When the suspect couldn’t be located, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

A suspect surrendered Monday, police said.

A Tilbury msn, 37, is wearing a disguise with the intent to commit theft, theft and possessing stolen property. He was released with conditions and an Oct. 23 court date, police said.
