Lotta Maj Lahtinen moves from Belgium to the Spanish main league

Lotta-Maj Lahtinen is already familiar with the Spanish main series.

Credit player of the national women’s basketball team Lotta-Maj Lahtinen moves from Castors Braine of the Belgian league to the ranks of Ardoi of the Spanish premier league. Spanish club announced on a contract that lasts until the end of the season on Tuesday.

Lahtinen moved to Castors Braine in October to make up for an injury.

Lahtinen, who recently played for the Susiladies in Helsinki against Slovenia and Bulgaria, is an experienced defender who can play both the roles of a playmaker and a throwing defender.

His international career started in the US NCAA league with the Georgia Tech team, where, among other things, he was selected to the all-star field of his conference. Lahtinen has previous experience in the Spanish premier league, as last season he played in it and the Eurocup in the AE Sedi Básquet team.

Catz, who grew up in Lappeenranta, played last season for Sedi Basquet with averages of 5.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals.
