At the beginning of the month, during the Loto draw, a player won a record gain of 30 million euros on Saturday, December 4. This is the largest sum ever won since the game was launched in 1976, according to the Française des Jeux (FDJ). After 28 consecutive draws without a winner, the jackpot was won by a resident of Ile-et-Vilaine. The last record dates from September 11 with 26 million euros won. “In the history of Loto, this is the seventh time that the jackpot has exceeded the symbolic bar of 20 million euros,” said the FDJ.
