When will Lost Soul Aside be released? With a new gameplay trailer, which you can find further down in the report, those responsible at Sony and Ultizero Games have announced that the action-packed role-playing adventure will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam).
In addition, those interested can now add the game to their respective wish lists. The gameplay trailer, which is almost a minute long, once again highlights the chic graphics of Lost Soul Aside as well as the well-staged action fights.
First a 1-man project, then AAA production
What do I need to know about Lost Soul Aside? When the first gameplay trailer went live a little over eight years ago (!), only Bing Yang was behind the role-playing project. The game designer had already been working solo on his game for two years.
Remarkable: Even back then, what was shown looked like an exciting mix of Final Fantasy 15 (in terms of visuals) and Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden (in terms of fast gameplay), which didn’t have to hide behind comparable games of the time.
This not only made many players aware of the project, but also those responsible at Sony, who quickly offered to support the project as a publisher from then on and also spent a lot of money to build a large team around Bing Yang .
Due to the close connection with Sony, it is not surprising that Lost Soul Aside will initially only be released for PlayStation 5 and PC. It is still unclear whether an Xbox release will follow at some point.
What is clear: Lost Soul Aside is an action adventure with role-playing elements and fast, dynamic battles that is intended to focus entirely on the single-player experience. The goal of the epic odyssey is to save your own sister and all of humanity from the attacks of dimensional invaders.
