Lost Ark shows roadmap through September

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

Lost Ark has solemnly revealed how the MMORPG will continue in the next two months. There is a new class, a new Legion Raid and many other features. We at MeinMMO summarize the highlights.

What is this roadmap? In Lost Ark there are usually no roadmaps that cover a long period of time. It’s similar this time too. However, the current timetable of the developers gives us a rough idea of what will happen in the MMORPG in August and September.

It is important to mention, however, that this roadmap only shows the cornerstones of the innovations. Usually, the exact details of the updates only come in the patch notes, just before the new content.

It is also exciting that Amazon seems to want to refrain from the large, monthly updates. There will be a big August update, as we are used to, and then there will be two updates in September. The next class, the highlight of the roadmap, awaits you at the end of September.

What are the highlights? Here’s what’s coming to Arkesia in August and September:

August:

  • The Pet Ranch – A place in your Stronghold where you can collect and upgrade your pets
  • Mahakara Festival – Blossoming Mokokos – A new festival where you can win mounts and skins. The theme will be more summery.
  • September:

  • A cross-server, global chat room
  • More interaction between players on different servers possible, as an example the friends list is mentioned
  • 2 new hairstyles for each class
  • Improved training area in Trixion
  • A PvP balance patch and better PvP settings
  • The new class machinist
  • A new Legion Raid for 4 players
  • Server merges to counteract dead servers
  • New events and skins
  • You can read the whole roadmap at any time on playlostark.com, we have only summarized the highlights for you here.

The last new class to come into play was the arcanist:

Lost Ark: Arcanist in the trailer

The machinist turns you into Iron Man

What class is this? The Machinist will be the penultimate class coming to our version of Arkesia in 2022. He is a long-range fighter, armed to the teeth, who relies on high-tech and lasers. He is the fifth advanced class of the gunner basic class and, like his colleagues, is only available in male.

The Machinist uses a submachine gun as his primary weapon, making it most effective at medium range. He is supported by a combat drone, which is also always at the start. You can then always start skills either yourself or through your drone.

This drone is useful in many situations as it does not have its own health bar and consequently cannot actually die. This is perfect for killing enemies without really having to push yourself.

In this video you can see the machinist in action:

What is his identity ability? If the SMG and your drone aren’t already grounding the enemy, you can activate your identity ability and become an Iron Man of sorts in the process. You float above the ground in a robot-like combat suit, firing rockets and lasers from all guns.

The entire user interface of the machinist also changes and gives you a real feeling of power and high-tech.

You can charge this powerful ability by damaging enemies. You load the so-called energy cores. In your ultimate form, you then use them up with every skill until you turn back.

There was also a first look at the upcoming skins

The new Legion Raid is a creepy clown – and comes with noob mode

What kind of Legion Raid is coming in September? With the second update in September, the 3rd Legion Raid will also appear in Lost Ark. After Valtan and Vykas, the clown Kokul-Saydon arrives. He takes you to his “midnight circus” and puts your skills to the test.

The clown Kokul-Saydon is considered one of the hardest bosses in Lost Ark and brings his own mechanics to the MMORPG. Unlike the previous Legion Raids, you only fight 4 against the commander of the Devastating Legion, so your eight-man squad for the other raids will have to be split up.

When can you play the raid? Kokul-Saydon comes with a noob mode where you can learn the mean raid boss before messing with the real mean clown. This mode is called Midnight Circus: Rehearsal and is open to you at item level 1,385.

The real raid is available from Gearscore 1,475 for normal mode. However, there will not be a hard or even a hellish mode immediately after the update.

Unfortunately, there is hardly any concrete information about the other innovations. Of course we will keep you updated as soon as there are more.
