The MMORPG Lost Ark arrived in the West a year ago. In keeping with the birthday, the developers are giving away a trophy that only the hardest fans of the game have received. But these take so much effort that some aren’t even proud to have them.
What is this trophy? On February 8th, Lost Ark turned a whole year old in the west, at least for those who pre-ordered it at the time. They were allowed to start 3 days earlier in the world of Arkesia.
Appropriately for this occasion, there is also a new achievement and a nice trophy for your own island to get hold of, if you really are one of the die-hard fans of the MMORPG. In order to get them, you have to be logged in at least once every single day. If you miss even one day, you’re out of luck.
Can you still get the achievement? From now on, however, success is in play if particularly ambitious people want to catch up. It’s called “365 Days of Perfect Attendance” and can be used to track your progress.
However, the rules remain the same, you must log in continuously for 365 days in a row to collect the statue. Incidentally, it is quite possible that Amazon will bring a similar success for 730 days next year, since there are already similar achievements in Korea.

Exactly how many people managed to get the trophy is not yet known. We’ve checked directly with Amazon and will update this article once we have an answer. However, there shouldn’t be too many.
And not even all of them are proud of it.
Fans scoff at hardcore players – ‘I don’t know if I should be proud or sad’
How are the fans reacting? First of all, not surprising, because many are already used to such an approach from the original Lost Ark in Korea. A handful of players who have now been online every day for four years were even chosen at an event there recently.
Nevertheless, the success was not announced to us beforehand. Many players react to the trophy with ridicule and scorn, even some users who have received it share this view of things. Some people sarcastically refer to the big gatekeeping problem in Lost Ark and joke that you’ll need the trophy soon to get into good groups.

What do the people who got the trophy say? In reddit, many of them actually react a little surprised, but also with shame. One confirms in a comment that he received the achievement, then adds to his comment: “I don’t know if that makes me proud or sad.”
Another says amazed: “I didn’t think I’d get them. I have to thank the fear of missing out, I think.” He is alluding to the daily login rewards from Lost Ark, which many players bring back every day.
Another user writes, “This is exactly the kind of success you shouldn’t tell other people you have.” In general, however, there is a lot of humor in the comments and only a little bad mood.
External circumstances spoil success, say the fans
What are the other fans saying? A handful of fans are angry at the trophy. There are some comments from people who claim they should have gotten the achievement, but they don’t. Others just don’t like success in and of itself. “Imagine you have something life-threatening and need to go to the hospital. Zack, success lost” writes the user Akasha1885 on reddit.
TessaraSorc is also annoyed by the success: “There are some people in my guild who missed it by a few days. Two members because they had to go to funerals. Others missed out on the trophy because there was no internet in Canada for several days last year. All that success doesn’t feel good.”
But other players take it with a lot of humor and fire off comments like: “You should touch weed again if you remember what that is”.
