The MMORPG Lost Ark wanted to give its players a gift for the end of 2022, but it didn’t quite go as planned. As compensation, players can look forward to even more gifts.
Lost Ark was one of the most played games on Steam in 2022. At the end of December, the team behind Lost Ark announced that all players should receive a gift to mark the end of the year.
After the maintenance, players should get the following content:
1 character per account could get this gift – and the fact that it should come at all was also positively received in the Lost Ark subreddit (via reddit). However, there was apparently an error: The combat item chests did not contain selectable items, but random item bundles.
Apparently that wasn’t intended: Because the developers got in touch again and said they would send more boxes afterwards.

This is what players now get as a gift in Lost Ark
This is the new gift: The Lost Ark forum explains that players now also get 100 more “Battle Item Chests (4)”. This is to ensure that all players are equipped with all types of combat items, and don’t have to be upset if there were worse items in the random selection.
If the original gift has already been picked up, you should also be allowed to keep the items.
Gifts were already being distributed at Lost Ark in November 2022. But there was also an error – but it caused frustration.
How do you get the gifts? All you have to do is register in Lost Ark by March 15, 2023. The gift has been available since 12/28/2022.
