The Summoner comes to Lost Ark this week with the December update. She is a subclass of the Mage and was originally supposed to be playable by the February release.
According to a post-beta MeinMMO poll, Summoner was one of the most popular classes. So the pain was great when Amazon and Smilegate announced that she would not be there for the release after all.
As a reason, Amazon said they had changed the starting lineup so that there was something for every taste. Instead of the summoner, they then brought the sorceress into the MMORPG. They promised that the summoner would come in 2022 – And now they keep their promise. The long-awaited class is coming with the update on December 14th.
She summons elementals to help her in battle
The Conjurer is the 4th subclass of the Mages in Lost Ark. It’s one of the slowest classes, but it makes up for it with high damage. She can operate at long range and deal a good type of consistent damage with her short-duration summons, but this means she has a lower burst potential than her castmates.
With her skills, she summons different animals and attacks her opponents – for example, a flock of birds flies at her enemies, or a horse overruns her. She can also fall back on a kind of servant to whom she can give orders. Compared to summoners in other games, this one is short-lived.

On her identity, the summoner charges a different number of orbs, up to a maximum of 7. You can then toggle between them to choose a specific elemental to summon.
There are these elementals:
As a class engraving you choose either “master summoner” or “overflowing communication”. The first variant makes your identity cost fewer bullets, improves your ability damage and your crit rate. With the second engraving, the summoned elementals stay with you longer in battle. In addition, you do more damage, move faster and the recharge times of your skills are reduced.
All Origin classes will be in the game soon
With the summoner, all the original classes that already existed in Korea with the EU release also arrived in the West.
Only the two classes that have since been released in Korea are missing. More specifically, they are the two subclasses of the new main class – The Specialists. On the one hand there is the Aeromancer, who fights with an umbrella and controls the weather.
On the other hand, there is the painter or artist, who is particularly popular in Korea. You fight with a brush and you can change the color, switching between DPS and support.
If you want to play a summoner, you can use the Punika power pass and the Hyper Express event to quickly level up her item level. The two events will remain in the December update. However, if you have already used them for the Reapers, you will get nothing. There is no new event just for the summoner.
