Loreen took home the win in Melodifestivalen 2023 on Saturday and will thus represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool in May.
It is the second time Loreen has taken home the victory in the Swedish Melodifestivalen and now she can also, with a victory in the Eurovision Song Contest, take her second victory there as well.
The viewers rage during Loreen’s contribution in Melodifestivalen: “What the hell are you doing?”
Loreen has got a property on Gotland
The newspaper The Express has previously written about a gift the singer received from her boyfriend Charlie Ljungs dad.
He has given over half of a property on Gotland to Loreen. However, there are a couple of caveats, including compensation for the gift of SEK 4.1 million, which is just below the Tax Agency’s estimated value of the property.
But despite that, it’s not all success and joy in her life. Namely, two anonymous tips have been received by the National Register Office at the Tax Agency claiming that Loreen does not live where she is registered.
Since 2014, she has been registered at an apartment in Vasastan in central Stockholm, but the informants believe that she no longer lives there. If that were the case, it could mean that Loreen is in breach of the National Registration Act.
The Tax Agency must have initiated two checks against her, which means that she must submit an answer about where she lives by March 17 at the latest.

Can be sentenced to a fine or imprisonment
To the newspaper The Express she has previously told about her residence on Gotland, where the “gift house” is also located.
– Gotland has been home, in many ways, for quite some time. I like what that island does to me. I live in an old house that has to be fixed all the time, the windows have to be puttyed, the chip pan filled, you take the tractor when the snow has to be shoveled, if there’s a storm I won’t leave and have to call my agent and say “sorry” , she told Expressen on February 24.
If Loreen were to be convicted of civil registration offences, the popular singer could face fines or imprisonment for a maximum of six months.
