These are turbulent days for Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series. For a long time, little happened around the 2nd season of the fantasy project. Last week The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power announced the cast for 6 new characters – and a sensational recast: Adar is getting a new actor.

Which characters do the new actors play?
Unfortunately there is no information about this yet. Amazon avoids direct role attributions in casting reports so as not to reveal too much about the plot. There remains only: a lot of speculation. Here we have listed 5 new characters that definitely need to be cast in Season 2. Below that, for example Elendil’s second son, Anárion, and Galadriel’s husband, Celeborn.
When does Lord of the Rings season 2 start?
