Lord of the Rings 3 has a number of obvious

Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Rings trilogy is one of the most complex film projects in history. The crew was under constant power for years. It was filmed on real sets and with countless actors: inside. Every detail was important to bring the world of JRR Tolkien to life. Of course there were a few mistakes, that’s not a criticism of the film at all.

ProSieben is showing the conclusion of the fantasy trilogy at 8:15 p.m. today. For the TV broadcast of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King we show you 3 of the most obvious mistakes – with a controversial bonus error at the end of the article.

3 Obvious Mistakes in Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

Denethor’s mile-long run to flaming death

In one of the dramatic climaxes, the Steward commits suicide on Minas Tirith. He had not coped with the supposed death of his last son Faramir and lay down with him on the pyre. Peregrin Took intervenes and Denethor storms through the city’s corridors, ablaze with flames. He covers several kilometers and, as I said, on fire. But his fall from the parapet brings death. It doesn’t make sense, but it looks cool.

The Lembas bread takes on a life of its own to get Sam on the right track

In the final stages of their journey, Sam and Frodo are separated by a manipulative strategy by Gollum. Gollum throws the lembas-bread supplies down the rocks, in flight they scatter all over Middle-earth (to put it exaggeratedly). On the way down, the sent Sam finds the Lembas bread. But not individual parts, but a thick pack, as Screen Rant found out.

You can cool off at the lava on Mount Doom

With the last of their strength, Sam and Frodo, reunited, drag themselves up Mount Doom. At some point they are surrounded by lava flows, but that doesn’t seem to bother them at all. The temperatures must be unbearable. A little more respect for the lava that can destroy the One Ring, please!

Sam and Frodo at Mount Doom

Bonus “Bugs”: Of course, we must not omit the eagles here. They carry Sam and Frodo out of Mount Doom, but were previously too refined to serve as the Mordor shuttle. Here we explain why this is not an error.
