Roger Rönnberg was interviewed before the third period in the away meeting with Skellefteå, and was anything but happy about the opposing coaches Pierre Johnsson and Andreas Falk’s move to take such a late timeout in such a big lead.

When asked what Frölunda can grab for straws in the coming period, Rönnberg answered:

– I think Skellefteå gave us quite a lot of motivation by taking a timeout with a 5-0 lead. That’s enough.

TV4’s commentator Johan Edlund: You don’t like it?

– Ask Svartvadet (TV4’s expert commentator) what he thinks about it. They are after one thing and that is to mock us. But we got energy from that, so that’s good.

Skellefteå won 5–1 and after the match the team’s assistant captain Rickard Hugg responded to Rönnberg’s words, in the local newspaper The north:

– He can laugh in the media if he wants. We felt that our game was not right at that moment and wanted to take a timeout to calm down a little bit. If he wants to be a baby about it, let him be.
