A Dutch crime reporter by Peter de Vries in 2021, the men involved in the shooting have been convicted of murder.
The shooter and the man who drove him were sentenced to 28 years in prison. The man who participated in organizing the murder received a sentence of 26 years and one month.
The 64-year-old De Vries was known for his revelations about the underworld.
De Vries was shot on the street in Amsterdam when he was leaving the talk show of the TV company RTL.
