Three trucks have collided on the E4 north of Stockholm.
There is a complete standstill to the south and there are long queues in both directions.
– Vi is still in place and helping with our expertise, says Marie Nordahl, management operator at the rescue service.
The accident happened between the Häggvik and Rotebro intersections.
According to the police, three cars have rammed into each other from behind. The main driver is uninjured, but the remaining two have been taken to hospital by ambulance.
At first, one of the drivers was trapped, but by the time they got to the hospital, both were awake.
Road closed
Police and ambulance are on site along with emergency services.
– The road is closed and there is a complete standstill to the south. It is rolling north, but slowly, says Marie Nordahl.
The road is diverted via road 267, Stäketleden, to E18 and on to Kista and out onto E4.
The trucks had no dangerous goods.
