After 0-7 in the first match, Utsikten faced a somewhat impossible task in the return in the Allsvenskan qualifier against the Brommapojkarna. The home team also started the best and were leading the game when the match was stopped after twelve minutes.
– We had warmed up and it’s freezing cold, so we have to wait inside for 1.5 hours before we can come out again and then you’re freezing cold. It just felt like both teams wanted to play this match, says Nikola Vasic.
The 32-year-old worked as an electrician a few years ago.
– I was actually up there screwing in the lamp a bit, he jokes.
Only after 1 hour and 20 minutes could the match be resumed after the power cut. But there were no goals. The match ended 0-0 and the Brommapojkarna will therefore play in the Allsvenskan next season as well.
– It’s just joy, it’s so fucking nice, Vasic.
– We shout and celebrate and will continue throughout the evening. Then we’ll see what happens.
