Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is the new name of the long-awaited game designed in a sarcastic and humorous language.
The date you can rejoin the world of Juliet Starling, her headless lover Nick, and her strange family, once again made up of eccentric zombie hunters, has been delayed a little longer to 2024.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP won’t arrive until 2024
From the creative minds of Suda51 and James Gunn, this zombie game became a cult game in 2012 for its humorous style, weird nonsense and superb soundtrack. However, its remake won’t arrive until 2024.
Developer Dragami Games announced the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP name on Twitter, but announced that the game’s release date has been delayed to summer 2024 “for the best gaming experience”. While apologizing for the game that was originally scheduled for release in 2023, he said, “We apologize to the fans who have been waiting for the latest Lollipop Chainsaw episode, thank you for your understanding.”
Yoshimi Yasuade, CEO of Dragami Games, made a statement
Dragami Games CEO Yoshimi Yasuade, executive producer of the original game, shared an image of Juliet Starling on Twitter, saying, “We’re working hard on game development, but we need a little more time. We’ll do our best to make a game you’ll love. This That’s why we ask for your continued support.”
Following the announcement of the project in July 2022, it was announced that James Gunn and Suda51 would not be involved in the Lollipop Chainsaw remake. Suda also stated that his own development studio, Grasshopper Manufacture, was not involved in the project, which seems likely to be run by Dragami Games.
Its release will likely be welcomed by those who want to play the game on PC. The original version of Lollipop Chainsaw was only released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and has not been released on other platforms since. For those who haven’t played Lollipop Chainsaw, although it may not be to everyone’s taste, it also has a fascinating appeal with its exaggerated humor, extreme bloody scenes and wild jokes.
Unfortunately, the game’s iconic original soundtrack won’t be making a full return, with Yasuda saying some songs will need to be replaced due to licensing issues. We hope the things that made the original game so enjoyable return again.
