There are numerous changes for the jungle role again. Junglers get an AI companion at launch, jungle monsters have new aggro zones, and other changes have been made to make it easier for newcomers to get into the role.

The Chemtech Dragon returns with a makeover. Only a few weeks after its introduction in Season 12, the Chemtech Dragon was removed from the game again because it caused various problems. Now he’s back, bringing new elements into play.

In addition, various items have been revised, removed or brought back.

Further balancing changes have already been announced for the start of the season. The exact patch notes have not yet been published. As soon as the official changes are public, we will update the article accordingly.

Riot employee Phlox has announced changes to items in addition to some champion buffs and nerfs. The champion Jax will also be “adjusted”, as will the tank item Jak’Sho, which is considered far too powerful by many in the community. We will only find out the details of the changes in the upcoming patch notes.

What happens to the rank? As in all previous seasons, the rank of all players will be reset at the start. However, not completely, a so-called “soft reset” takes place. This means that you will only lose part of your current rank. This prevents high and low ranked players from being matched at the start of the new season and still having to work their way back up the rankings.

Riot has teamed up with Microsoft for anyone who is new to League of Legends (again) or wants to make it easier for their friends to get started. Linking your account to Xbox Game Pass gives you instant access to all available champions.
