LoL permanently banned innocent players and caused panic

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

In the run-up to League of Legends Season 13, developers are testing new in-game items. However, a bug has now appeared on the test server that has banned innocent players. Players didn’t know what they did wrong but couldn’t access the game anymore. However, Riot Games was able to identify and correct the problem promptly.

What was the problem?

  • Riot Games has had bugs throughout the worlds that could be game-changing.
  • The new update on the test server caused innocent players to be banned.
  • There are many new items and items throughout Preseason 13, in addition to further adjustments to the jungle and top plane.
  • Players believed it was a bug with the Heartsteel item.
  • Many players were banned without knowing a real reason:

Players are unbanned again – the problem was apparently with Riot

Riot has a fix for the issue: After many players at Riot Games were banned for using a “third party tool” or a “cheating program”, they are now rowing back. They can reject the theory on Reddit that it is due to the item “Heartsteel” (via Reddit).

They fixed the error and unlocked the banned accounts again. Meanwhile, Riot Games will be looking into accounts that were banned due to this bug and reverting it.

The bug is probably a problem with a spell. The issue stems from an error in the code where Riot’s anti-cheat program intervened. As a result, many players were unfairly banned.

New tank item brings infinite life points, hurts a lot

    What is this item?

  • Heartsteel is a new Mythic item for 3200 gold that grants health and health regeneration, as well as some cooldown reduction. The item was previously called “Goliath’s Ascendancy”.
  • It has a special passive ability: you can use it to perform a hit that is stronger the more max life you have.
  • In addition, your champion permanently gains life points. So you become more and more powerful and tough. The experts call this “infinite scaling”.
  • It does have one good thing though. The item has been given a special focus and Riot Games is now working on adjusting the “scaling” before it comes to the live servers.

LoL players outdo each other on Twitter with “Infinite Scaling” on the new item

So what happens now? All in all, one is very happy that the problem does not occur on the live server and bans a lot of players there. This gives the Riot Games developers enough time to remove this error and other bugs from the game and to prepare for pre-season changes on the live servers.

In the video from “RossBoomsocks” (via YouTube), the content creator talks about the fact that the anti-cheat program wants to unban players automatically, but it may also be that some players have to be unlocked individually.
