LoL brings a mobile new heroine in Nilah, but her strengths lie elsewhere

Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

Riot has for League of Legends introduced a new heroine. The new botlaner Nilah relies on speed and various buffs. But she has her greatest strength when she plays with others in a team.

Who is the champion? We already introduced you to Nilah in her short trailer. She is a follower of an order that uses demons for their purposes. In doing so, she uses abilities that are based on water.

Riot introduced Nilah as a skirmisher for the bot lane. If she’s in lane, she and her teammate benefit from it. Because Nilah has several passive abilities in her luggage, which also apply to allies.

LoL: Trailer shows new champion Nilah – Is so mobile that you can not escape

Nilah is a mobile fighter who supports other people

What makes them so interesting? Her passive ability, Infinite Joy, supports other people who are nearby. Because when Nilah kills a Minion, she and the closest allied champion gain 50% of the experience that would normally be lost through sharing with nearby allies.

In addition, Nilah benefits from healing and shields cast by other players. If you’re in lane with Nilah and you’re using a shield, Nilah’s presence buffs the ability.

Nilah otherwise relies on melee attacks and her ability “Slipstream.” This makes her very mobile because she can jump to her targets quickly and can also strengthen this attack. This makes her a nimble and unpredictable opponent.

What other skills does she have?

  • Formless Blade (Q)
  • Passive: Attacks and ability damage against champions ignore some of their armor and heal Nilah for a portion of the damage dealt. This effect scales with critical strike chance and can “overheal”, granting Nilah a shield.
  • Active: Nilah strikes in a line, damaging all enemies hit. Hitting an enemy increases Nilah’s attack range and attack speed for a few seconds. Additionally, her attacks deal area damage and bonus damage in a cone-shaped area
  • Jubilant Veil (W): Nilah shrouds herself in mist, briefly increasing movement speed, reducing incoming magic damage, and dodging all incoming basic attacks. If she touches an allied champion, they are also enshrouded in mist and gain the same bonuses for half the duration.
  • Slipstream (E): Nilah dashes to a target unit, dealing damage to all enemies it hits. She can hold 2 charges of Slipstream at once. If Nilah casts Shapeless Blade (Q) during Slipstream, she will trail a wave that deals damage and activates Nilah’s empowered attacks.
  • Apotheosis (Ultimate Ability – R): Nilah twirls her weapon in an area around her, dealing damage and pulling enemies into the center with a final burst. She heals for a portion of the damage dealt and converts excess healing into a shield. Healing and shield scale with critical strike chance and are shared with nearby allies.
  • What do you think of Nilah and her skills? Will you be playing it at the start of the new update or don’t you like it?

Nilah is another female champion, which has recently been the subject of discussion. However, one developer explains why so many female heroes are appearing right now:

97% of all female players in LoL only use female champions: “If we bring a man, we let them down”
