LoL: A 15 year old champion is really good at 3 lanes right now

To make Twisted Fate stronger in League of Legends, Riot for 2 patches tweaked his scaling and abilities. Apparently this was too successful, as he is present in 3 lanes and will soon be nerfed.

Twisted Fate is a true veteran of LoL. He has been part of the champion pool since the release in 2009 and has hardly changed apart from small mechanics. However, it hasn’t been present in the last few months, which is why Riot has adjusted it in patch 14.2.

His passive triggers additionally on critical hits, his Q ability deals more damage and has been given AD scaling, and his W and E have also been adjusted for crit and AD. This was a very good buff because he is one of the best champions currently in 3 lanes.

If you look at his stats for Emerald and above on U.GG, he’s doing very well. He has a win rate of 51.91% in the midlane, 52.79% as an ADC and 52.73% as a top laner. The special thing about this is that he is played on toplane and as an ADC as an AD crit champion. U.GG rated him S+ on mid and bot and S on the top plane.

He has range and makes a lot of money

Why is Twisted Fate so good right now? The AD buffs and new crit focus are the big focus. His passive ability ensures that when he kills a unit, he gets 1 to 6 gold. Since 14.2 he also gets additional gold when he receives a critical hit. Of course, that’s a solid income at some point. Especially because his W can now cause critical hits.

But the real star now is his E. The ability gives him bonus attack speed, now scales to 75% AD and now also deals more damage to towers. For an AD build, this provides good damage and helps him play like an ADC due to the attack speed.

Its reach should not be underestimated either. If you build him with Rapid Firecannon, his W is a powerful tool. He can cause a solid stun from long range with the yellow card to catch champions. He can also use this to kill enemies who try to escape. In his lanes, most champions who are also popular have a lower range than him, which also makes his laning phase comfortable.

Although his ultimate hasn’t been changed, this ability shouldn’t be forgotten either, as it gives Twisted Fate and his teammates enormous control over the map through vision, which has changed a lot this season. He also has great ganking and roaming potential thanks to the teleport with his ultimate.

Riot is soon nerfing Twisted Fate – At least one build

If you want to be successful with Twisted Fate, you should hurry up, because nerfs for him will follow on March 6th. As Spideraxe reports on x.com, the following nerfs are coming:

  • His attack speed growth drops from 3% to 2.5%
  • The AP scaling of his blue card (W ability) decreases from 115% to 100%
  • The AP scaling of his E drops from 50% to 40%
  • This only nerfs AP, which means he should still be strong as an AD champion; However, it can still be worthwhile to focus on the champion. Although he will be less able to utilize Guinsoos’ AP values, that should hardly be noticeable. The nerfs for Twisted Fate come much later than for this champion: LoL: Riot apologizes for too strong a buff on a midlaner
