Loki Season 2 First Trailer Brings Sci Fi Darling To MCU

Genre cinema is ruled by the multiverse. In 2021, the Marvel series Loki was one of the first to try the elaborate narrative format. Two years later, dimensional jumping is almost old hat. Fittingly, Season 2 of the Marvel series has a star of the multiverse film par excellence: Ke Huy Quan from Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Ke Huy Quan had become a child star as a short-round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. He made his big comeback in 2022 in Everything Everywhere All at Once, for which he even won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. Not much is known about his role in Loki Season 2. He plays an employee of the Time Variance Authority (TVA).

What happened in the last episode and what is Loki Season 2 about?

In the final episode of Season 1, Loki faced the villain Kang, played by Jonathan Majors, who is on trial on domestic violence allegations starting this week. Kang controlled the multiverse, and fighting him sparked a new, chaotic multiverse.

Season 1 of Loki ended on a cliffhanger: In another timeline, Mobius (Owen Wilson) has no idea who Loki even is. From this constellation, the coming second season can gain an exciting dynamic.
