Mats Lövfing has also been served with suspicion of misconduct in connection with his awarding former intelligence chief Linda Staaf a service weapon.
The prosecutor writes that Löfving and Staaf were heard about both incidents. Witnesses have also been questioned.
– I will not comment further on what was said or the state of evidence in the preliminary investigation, says deputy chief prosecutor Bengt Åsbäck, in a comment.
Mats Löfving denies the crimes.
