The lock leveled the games against Tappara in front of a shamefully small audience
On Tuesday, Rauma Lukko equalized the hockey league semi-final against Tampere’s Tappara with a meager but well-earned 2–1 victory. The gold helmet responsible for the winning goal became the heroes of the home team Vili Saarijärvithe father of a strong return and opening goal after his ban Pavol Skalicky and a goalkeeper who grabbed 25 fights Artyom Zagidulin.
– It was a really smooth and hard game as expected. We took Monday’s step forward, Saarijärvi talked after the game.
The defender was pleased with Skalicky’s return.
– “Skaldo” is a big player whose huge amount of work brings a sense to the game. He is also a great man outside the trough, Saarijärvi praised.
– We had a suitable bite when the game slipped out of our hands in Tampere. We defended better now and liked the team’s rhythm. There is always room for improvement, but today we saw two and a half batches of good Lukko slots, coach Marko Virtanen rejoiced.
Tappara’s head coach Jussi Tapola continued to praise the opponent.
– Although the match was even, it was a well-deserved victory today. The opponent struggled well and was perhaps more on the game, Tapola said.
Although the most important games of the season are being played in Rauma, for some reason the match on Tuesday did not get more than 2,500 pairs of eyes. That’s a little shameful.
The wins are now 1-1, and the teams will continue their turn next Thursday in Tampere.
A sharp slump in the corner of Jukurit
KooKoo, the eighth in the regular season of the hockey league, will tune in the playoffs after taking the lead against the Jukuri with 2-0. KooKoo decided to win the home win with 3–2 goals in their second round show Samuli Ratisen, Kasperi Ojantakanen and Eero Teräväinen hits.
– We defended tightly, maybe with the exception of Jukuri ‘s second goal, the defender Teräväinen, who was in the backlash in the setback, acknowledged.
– We knew how to rhythm the game well. My hit seems to be my first playoff goal. The return disc dropped straight on my shoulder, but I’m not sure if the draw sank in the top corner, the Jokers grew Sharply smiled.
For Teräväinen, who played his seventh playoff match in the league troughs, the playoffs have been more familiar in the past than watching his brother’s games. Big brother Teuvo Teräväinen, 27, has a total of 59 playoffs in the NHL over eight seasons.
– I’ve only seen two of his playoff matches there on the spot, but in the hustle and bustle of Chicago after winning the Stanley Cup, I was there, Sharp laughed.
The Jukuri, who have scored the top goalkeepers and two power chains for this season, had as many as nine players in the line-up who have joined the team this season. The only players who attacked the entire Yukuri six-year league leg disappeared from the crew of the opening encounter. Jesper Piitulainen and Teemu Henritius.
– We played really well for the next set. There were places for more than one goal. Something was left in the booth for another batch, the Yukuri coach acknowledged Olli Jokinen.
HIFK’s Miro Karjalainen immersed TPS in the sequel
Helsinki IFK defeated the Turku Palloseura by 4–3 in the semi-finals of the Finnish Championships in hockey and leveled the match series 1-1. Defender Miro Karjalainen fired a solution in the first batch.
– Fortunately, this is how the first mortgage was obtained. It will probably be put in the spotlight at the moment (my own personal success), Karjalainen described his feelings after the solution goal to C Morelle.
During the actual game period, TPS escaped the lead three times, but HIFK crept into the levels each time. They excelled as scorers in Helsinki Roni Hirvonen, Yohann Auvitu and Reid Gardiner.
HIFK guard Niilo Halonen fought the poor 11 times in the match, Andrei Karejeville there were as many as 33 disc stops.
TPS ‘s pilot Jussi Ahokas admitted that the team was a little underperforming.
– We weren’t at our best. The disc game was not what we would have liked. Still, we were tenacious and hung well on the result. Unfortunately, the loss of one’s own head is a winning goal, but nothing helps but to move my eyes to Thursday and Turku.
