Season 4 of Tailgate Talent Show will premiere on Monday featuring local performers and judges.
Two episodes and the finale of the show, “a celebration of Southern Ontario that puts a spotlight on the talented people who live in small towns,” were filmed in Norfolk County during the Friendship Festival.
The final episode was taped at the Waterford Legion.
“This season is our best ever,” said Dean Rainey of Rainey Media. “It features great local performers and celebrity judges, Felicia McMinn, Lucas Wilson and Dan Fewings.”
Rainey said Simcoe Toyota and the Downtown Simcoe BIA also are featured in humorous segments.
In addition to talent from Simcoe, the season showcases performers from Goderich and Sudbury.
In the first three seasons, Tailgate Talent Show included more than 100 performers, including singers, dancers, comedians, jugglers and magicians, who stepped up onto the stage.
Season 4, hosted by comedian Kyle Bergstresser, will premiere on Monday at 8 pm on Eastlink Community TV channel 610.
The winner, announced in the final episode, wins the opportunity to record a radio-ready single at Jukasa Studios on Six Nations of the Grand River.
