The young people could vote for parties that participate in the municipal elections in the municipality where their educational institution is located. Local parties received 17.5 percent of all 22,663 votes cast. In second place comes the VVD (16.7 percent), followed by GroenLinks (15.2 percent) and D66 (14.9 percent). Volt, 50Plus and JA21 received the fewest votes.
