The Municipality Hatched the Brant Eats Initiative Last Year to Inspire Locals and Visitors to Discover Independently Owned Spots across the County throughout March.

“We encourage Everyone to Dine Local, Share Their Experiences, and Support the Hardworking Restaurant Owners who Make Brant’s Food Scene So Special,” Zach Gable, Director of Economic Development and Tourism for the County, Said in A News Release.

One Such Place is Skyway Cafe, an All-Day Breakfast Spot Serving Classics Like Pancakes and Omelettes Right in the Action of the Brantford Municipal Airport.

It’s a small space – Only around 10 tables – with large windows that make diners feel like they practically on the runway. It’s a hit with kids and regulars, and because the airport is sometimes used as a movie rental, it has even had celebrties like Kevin Bacon and gene hackman come through.
