Local Events Make 2025 Top 100 Festivals in Ontario List

It’s the 10th Win for Apple Fest, An Autumn Tradition in the Village of St. George for Four Decades.

Apple Fest Returns This Year On Sept. 20 and 21.

Several Other Local Events also made the 2025 Top 100 Festival List, included Brantford International Villages Cultural Festival, Eat and Drink Norfolk, and Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show.

The top 100 containers take over festivals and events that excel in the industry.

Submissions from Festival and events Ontario Members we received for considering in the Fall of 2024 and considered by an independent Panel of Judges.

Festivals and events of All Kinds and from Every Part of the province we represent in the submissions-from Community Festivals to Internationally-Recognized Events.

The 2025 Top 100 Awards Were presented on Feb. 26 During the Festivals and events Ontario Annual Conference in Kitchener.

Brantford International Villages Cultural Festival Marked Its 50th Anniversary Last July. A Celebration of Cultures from surround the world, it last year include 15 “villages” offering food and entertainment.

The villages are back this year from July 2 to 5.

Several Thousand Visitors Chowed Down at Eat and Drink Norfolk Last April where they sampled Servings of Local Food and Beverages from Restaurants, Food Producers, Wineries and Breweries that highlighted all the Flavours of Norfolk County.

This Year’s Eat and Drink Norfolk Will Be Held April 3 to the Norfolk County Fairgroups.

The Norfolk County Fair and Horseshow Marked Its 184th Anniversary in 2024 Offering Visitors Everything from Horse Pulls and A Giant Pumpkin Contest to Fried and Sugary Food Concocations and the Bustle of the Midway.

The Fair Returns This Year for Several Days Leading Up to and Including Thanksgiving Day Weekend.

Festivals and events Ontario was establised in 1987 as an Association Devoted to the Growth and Stability of the Festival and Event Industry in the Province.

The Industry is estimated to generate More Than $ 2.3 Billion Annually in Contribution to the Regional GDP. It Creates and Sustains about 50,000 Full-Year Equivalent Jobs and Fosters about $ 1 Billion in Taxes at All Levels of Government.
