Local chamber of commerce announces nominees for 2022 Business Excellence

The Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce has announced 46 nominees across nine categories for its 26th annual Business Excellence Awards gala Oct. 13.

The Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce has announced the nominees for its 26th annual Business Excellence Awards gala in October.

Nearly 50 businesses and non-profit organizations from across Stratford, St. Marys and Mitchell were nominated across nine categories for this year’s awards show.

“The chamber is proud to host the 26th annual Business Excellence Awards honoring outstanding achievements and commitments in the business community and highlighting entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations who have demonstrated a dedication to their product or service and an ongoing commitment to their employees and the community at large,” chamber general manager Eddie Matthews said.

“I’m always impressed by the creativity and imagination of owners who look at each day with the approach and mindset that you will either win or learn. These people have a game plan and take the approach to try something new and succeed or learn a lesson so they can try again with a greater chance of success.”

This year’s awards gala will once again be held at the Arden Park Hotel on Oct. 13 with a reception beginning at 5 pm, dinner at 6 pm and awards presentations beginning at 6:30 pm

In June, the chamber announced it would present its business leader of the year award to investStratford CEO Joani Gerber, who will deliver the evening’s keynote address.
