Ljubomir Vranjes is one of Swedish handball’s all-time greats.
Today he is 49 years old – but in better shape than ever.
The legend shows off the incredible transformation with his new super body.
With the nickname “The flying meatball” jumped Ljubomir Vranjes straight into the Swedish people’s soul and became immensely popular in our long country. Vranjes was part of the legendary “Bengan Boys” who reaped such great success for the Swedish national team.
The icon of Vranjes
The 166-centimeter left-handed nine built up a very impressive track record during his active career with Olympic silver, World Cup gold, double World Cup silver and triple European Championship gold in the blue-and-yellow national team uniform. There were also a total of 5 SM golds in six years during a heyday with Redbergslid.

After his playing career, Vranjes saddled up and remained in the handball world as a coach. Where he has celebrated great success in Germany and won several heavy titles, with the Champions League win in 2014 standing out the most.

The super body
In recent years, the handball icon has been the national team captain for Slovenia, but recently he became the new coach for French Nimes. In addition to handball, Vranjes has also undergone a major transformation in his everyday life, see his new body below.

Two years ago, the 49-year-old started his own personal weight loss journey to get in better shape and get both training and diet in order. Today he feels much better and also teaches his experiences and knowledge to others as a kind of online coach in the hope of being able to inspire as many people as possible.
“I have maintained my weight, which I am really proud to have managed, at the same time I have become stronger, fitter, happier and have never felt better,” he writes himself on Instagram.
“In this way, I want to motivate you this Sunday to take hold of yourself, it is possible to find balance in life if you need it. It doesn’t have to be extreme in any way, so you don’t have to ban any food or drink. Nor should you suddenly become an elite athlete and train 7 days a week. It’s not about that.

Ljubomir Vranjes has also posted pictures of his new super body on Instagram, see the picture below. And his followers are terribly impressed by the great body transformation of the almost 50-year-old sports legend, who is described as a “machine”.
