Liverpool’s title hopes in the English Premier League suffered a blow when they lost 0-1 at home to Crystal Palace at Anfield.
The defeat was Liverpool’s first at Anfield in 28 Premier League matches. The last time the red shirts lost at home in the Premier League was in October 2022.
As is typical for this season, Liverpool quickly found themselves on the back foot in the match.

Manchester City, who defeated the promotion Luton 5-1 yesterday, leads the Premier League by two points ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool. Arsenal, who have played less matches, will face Aston Villa from 18:30.
In the second match of the afternoon, Fulham beat West Ham 2–0.
