The English Premier League season got off to a good start on Saturday, with several matches on the program. On Friday, Manchester United scored First Steps by beating Fulham 1–0 at home.
Liverpool and Arsenal, the perennial winners of recent years, opened their season convincingly. Liverpool defeated Ipswich 2–0 as the away team Diego Jotan mixed Mohamed Salah’s with hits.
Last season, Arsenal, who fought for the championship until the very last meters, beat Wolves 2–0 at home. They were responsible for the goals Kai Havertz mixed Bukayo Saka.
In the other matches that have already ended, Brighton claimed a convincing 3-0 win at Everton’s home ground, Newcastle beat Southampton 1-0, and Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth ended in a 1-1 draw.
