14:01 – Start of the first match
Lulu Sun and Donna Vekic enter the court on court No. 1 to play the first quarter-final of the day. Coming from the qualifications, the New Zealander tries to continue her adventure in this Wimbledon.
13:55 – Rain in London
As has been the case since the beginning of the fortnight, the weather is expected to be rainy this Tuesday at Wimbledon. No worries, however, for the quarter-finals, since they are all taking place on the Centre Court and Court No. 1, which will therefore be covered.
13:45 – Can Emma Navarro get a first semi-final?
At 23, Emma Navarro has changed dimension this season. By beating the world number two and her compatriot Coco Gauff in the round of 16, Emma Navarro reached a quarter-final in a Grand Slam for the first time. Facing the finalist of the last Roland-Garros Jasmine Paolini, she could once again make sparks.
13:35 – Unbeatable Sinner?
If Daniil Medvedev leads 6-5 in the confrontations against Jannik Sinner, the Italian remains on five consecutive victories including two this year.
13:25 – Alcaraz must be wary of Tommy Paul
Carlos Alcaraz has been working wonders on the London grass since the start of the fortnight. However, the Spaniard has not always been sovereign in the tournament. Against Tommy Paul, Alcaraz will have to be more consistent in his serve than since the start of the tournament, against a big server.
13:05 – Medvedev’s journey
Unlike his last Grand Slam encounter against Jannik Sinner in the Australian Open final, Daniil Medvedev did not hang around in this Wimbledon. The Russian also lost only two sets, in the second and third rounds. He also took advantage of Grigor Dimitrov’s retirement in the first set to spend a minimum of time on the court.
12:45 – Jannik Sinner’s journey
Facing Daniil Medvedev on Center Court, Jannik Sinner has been impressive since the start of the tournament. The Italian has only lost two sets since the start of the fortnight, one against Hanfmann in the first round, and another against Berrettini in the second. He then eliminated Kecmanovic and Shelton in quick succession in three sets.
12:25 – There are no more French people at Wimbledon
The last two French players still in the running were eliminated yesterday. Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and Arthur Son both lost in four sets to Lorenzo Musetti and Alex de Minaur.
