Jeanne Added and By Your Side, Consolation of Apple, Short-lived by Grand Corps Malade, Gaël Faye and Ben Mazué, Multitude by Stromae and Nonante-Cinq, the suite by Angèle were in competition in the Album of the Year category at the Victoires de la musique 2023. And after nine long years of absence , Stromae wins the Victory for the Album for Multitudewhich has already earned him a prize this evening, that of Male Artist.

Each year at the Victoires de la Musique, the names of the winners are in the hands of a college of voters, made up of 900 professionals from the music sector and members “outside the music industry”, recruited on the basis of a cover letter. However, the public has its say in one category, that of Original Song of the Year. The votes were open until the day before the ceremony: it was possible to vote on the France Télévisions site, once a day, with an email address.
The Victoires de la Musique take place this Friday, February 10, at the musical Seine of Boulogne-Billancourt, at the gates of Paris. The ceremony is broadcast live, from 9:10 p.m., on France 2 and France Inter.
Like the latest editions of the Victoires de la musique, in particular one without an audience for health reasons linked to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, the ceremony takes place at the musical Seine, in Boulogne-Billancourt, at the gates of Paris.
In each of the Victoires de la musique categories, the name of the winner will be known throughout the evening. However, the winners of two categories are already known: that of the most streamed Album of an artist is awarded to ninety-five from Angèle and its male equivalent to Jeff by Ninho. Note that during the Victoires de la musique 2022, it was Orelsan who won everything, with three trophies won.
