It is pouring down in several parts of the country. The severe snow storm has moved in during Tuesday morning and SMHI has issued several warnings in the country.

Follow our live coverage of the weather here.

  • SJ buys back all tickets

During Tuesday, SJ offers all travelers the opportunity to rebook or cancel their tickets free of charge, reports Gothenburg Post.

This applies to travelers who have a ticket booked for the next 24 hours, regardless of ticket type.

  • The snowfall has moved in over Mullsjö with strong winds. So far 5-10 cm.

    Anders Bergqvist

    Hello Anders!

    Ugh, that sounds rough.

  • All bus traffic in Halland is cancelled

Hallandstrafiken has chosen to cancel all bus services due to Tuesday’s snow storm. There is no forecast for when the buses will start running again.

“The weather situation has rapidly deteriorated in the entire county and for safety reasons it is no longer possible to drive the buses,” writes Hallandstrafiken on its website.

  • How does it look in Stockholm now? Going later this afternoon

    Lena

    Hi Lena!

When I trudged to work this morning, the sun was shining here in central Stockholm. It still does and as far as I can see not a single snowflake is falling.

However, the storm is not expected to move in over Stockholm until around 3pm.

Depending on how you are going to get here, your journey may be affected. SJ has already canceled several departures to and from the capital and the Swedish Transport Administration is flagging traffic jams on several roads.

  • The police in the south: Traffic is severely affected

The storm has had a significant impact on traffic in Kalmar, Skåne, Blekinge and Kronoberg. At the same time, Patric Fors, press spokesperson at the police, comes with good news.

    – Right now it seems that the wind and snow have subsided for the moment.

    He continues:

    – We haven’t had any major traffic accidents so far. But a lot of cars have gone off the road and several trucks are standing still because they can’t get up hills, says Patric Fors.
