Vadim Boychenko, the Mayor of the city of Mariupol, which was besieged by Russian troops in Ukraine, said in a statement yesterday that the people of the city have been under bombardment for 5 days and that a security corridor should be created for evacuation. Boychenko, in his statement on Telegram, said that solutions are being sought to solve humanitarian problems and that “the ceasefire is a priority so that food and medicine can be supplied to the city”.
