The superheroes from the anime My Hero Academia have individual talents, also known as quirks. A little girl has now discovered one of the characters and has found a lot in common with him.
What do the girl and the character have in common? In a store, a little girl discovers a plush toy from the anime My Hero Academia. She is particularly fond of the cuddly toy for the character Shoto Todoroki because he has a mark on his face just like the girl.
The little one, who can be seen in mother lastflashqueen’s TikTok video, has had a huge birthmark over the right side of her face since she was born. That’s why she’s happy that there’s someone else who shares this physical characteristic with her.
What you shouldn’t tell the little one, however, is that he didn’t have Shoto’s facial mark from birth. It’s a burn scar that his own mother gave him when she poured hot water on his face.
But either way, it’s sweet how happy the little girl is that she’s finally found someone who “suits her.”

Mangaka and voice actors become aware of the girl
What do the mangaka and the voice actor have to do with it? Yuki Kaji, Shoto’s original Japanese voice actor, reports back on X about the little girl’s video. He writes that Kohei Horikoshi, the mangaka of My Hero Academia, showed him the video of the girl.
He writes from the character’s point of view and says that he had a difficult past. But that past still had the potential to save someone. There is a kind of hero that only Shoto could be.
By this he means that the sad story of Shoto’s brand can make other people’s lives easier and cheer them up. With the smiling smiley at the end of his message, he shows how happy he is for the girl.
Why is Shoto’s past so sad? Shoto was only given the burn scar because his mother was angry with his father Enji. Shoto was born with two colors of hair that split into two halves. One half has similarities to his father, the other half to his mother.
But because his father was so focused on training Shoto to become the strongest hero, he and his mother often argued. This resulted in violent arguments with the mother, who suffered mental damage as a result.
This caused her to hate Enji so much that she scalded his side at Shoto. The boy had to go through a lot in his past, but his scar in particular was able to bring the little girl a lot of joy.
Last year, Horikoshi ended the story of My Hero Academia. Eiichiro Oda, the mangaka of One Piece, revealed that Horikoshi can finally play his favorite video game in his free time: The mangaka of My Hero Academia has published his last chapter – The author of One Piece says he can finally play his favorite video game gamble
