Quidditch is an important part of the Harry Potter world. The sport involves players riding broomsticks and like many team sports, balls and goals are involved. That sounds pretty cool on paper. What Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe didn’t know is how painful every single Quidditch spin would be.
‘It’s not a nice experience’: All Quidditch shoots were torture for Daniel Radcliffe
In an interview with Digital Spy on the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Daniel Radcliffe opened up. Quidditch can stay stolen from him. Little did he know before the first Quidditch shoot how awkward it would be:
Quidditch is on par with all things Harry Potter least fun. It wasn’t a nice experience, it really hurts.
When Daniel Radcliffe talked about his Quidditch suffering in Harry Potter 1 to 6 in 2009, the seventh part had already been shot. Radcliffe is delighted with the absence of Quidditch in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1:
I had to for each of the films [auf den Besen steigen]so this is my favorite thing about the seventh part: No Quidditch!
Draco Malfoy actor Tom Felton was also at the press conference and joked about his luck:
I’m so glad I haven’t had to do it since the second film.
