Leukerbad 1951/2014 is made up of two trials. “A Stranger in the Village” by James Baldwin is the story of the author’s experience of staying in Leukerbad, in the Swiss Alps, in the summer of 1951. The American was the first black to set foot in the village and on this fable, he built his text to which responds “Black Body” by the Nigerian Teju Cole, who went to Leukerbad in the footsteps of his elder, more than sixty years apart.
