Literature in search of density in fiction with Kossi Efoui

A man of the theatre, but also a short story writer and novelist, the Togolese Kossi Efoui likes to say that he writes “to save his life”. Exiled in France since 1990, he is the author of six novels and several plays. His plays are performed on the European and African stages and his novels have won him prestigious literary prizes, including the Five Continents prize in 2009. He is an essential author of the African literary corpus.
