Literature Bruno Lus publishes a fierce novel about suffering adolescence

The college bell rang. Lucie, 13, bites off a piece of the ear of Enzo, a classmate who posted a disgusting montage of her on Facebook. Blood flows. And the sentence falls: she is expelled from school. That’s not enough for Enzo’s father who shows up at Lucie’s HLM and her single mother Juliette. Generally : The 5th edition of the Nights of Reading, initiative of the French Ministry of Culture which seeks to promote reading and the love of literature in all its forms. This year’s theme is “Love again, love always!”, and it is a theme that particularly affects artists since it speaks of passion and expression.

One poetry contest which met with great success with more than 80 applications, led by the Styl’oblique collective and Fann Attiki (the author will also present his novel cave 92). The first 12 will have the chance to participate in a poetic writing workshop with the author and poet John of America, Rfi theater prize in February 2022.

A great evening will be held on January 21, 2022, with a reading of the texts of the 3 winners of the contest, followed by a reading of texts of love by candlelight by the collective of slammers Styl’oblique, with acoustic accompaniment.

Finally, a workshop around the voice for women, provided by the Comorian multi-instrumentalist artist Nawal Mlanao.
