In the list recently published by the “Documento” newspaper, many names such as former Greek Police Service Chief Mihalis Karamalakis, Greek Intelligence Service Prosecutor Vasiliki Vlahu, Minister of Education and Religious Affairs Niki Kerameos and Government Spokesperson Yannis Ikonomu were among those alleged to have been tapped with spyware.
Government Spokesperson Yannis İkonomu denied the allegations and argued that the allegations would be examined by the judiciary.
PARLIAMENT WILL MEET MONDAY
The Greek media noted that the relevant delegation of the parliament will meet on Monday to discuss the allegations regarding the wiretapping scandal.
Documento newspaper had previously claimed that many ministers, former ministers, politicians and journalists such as former Prime Minister Andonis Samaras, former Ministers of Citizen Protection Mihalis Hrisohoidis and Olga Yerovasili, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias, Development and Investment Minister Andonis Yeorgiadis were listened to.
